Visa for South Korea

Visa-Free Travel to South Korea for Danish and other EU Citizens

Citizens of all EU countries including Denmark can enter South Korea without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism, business meetings, or family visits.

K-ETA Update (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization):

Many EU citizens are temporarily exempt from the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) until December 31, 2025. However, requirements may vary slightly by country—please check the official K-ETA website before traveling.

For stays exceeding 90 days or for purposes such as technical service, employment or long-term study, an appropriate visa must be obtained prior to travel.
